Default Exide battery

Re exude batteries any good? They sell them at Home Depot and I have a gift card there. Should i go with exude or a different brand.

I say buy a battery that has a good warranty and one that you can easily exchange if something goes wrong. Buying from a place like HD should make the exchange easy as they are everywhere.

Exide is one of oldest and largest manufacture of automotive battery's in the world. not to mention there industrial battery's.

Yeah they are a big brand and a good battery. Wouldn't hesitate to buy one especially if you have a discount. We use them at the Kenworth dealership I work at. Good warranty and don't seem to have any problems with them as far as crapping out early.

The last Exide battery I had lasted 9 years. It was still good (holding a charge and starting the high-compression 400 smallblock in the Chevy it was in) after 9 years, but it was a side-post battery, and had started leaking from the positive post at that point.
