Exhaust question

What's the drone like I want a bit tougher sound out of my 5.0 but don't want drone. Can't stand it anymore had straight headers before a few times don't want that just a deep growl like magna flow style. Any suggestions.

It's a catback system SIDO. If you go beyond the cat chances are the dealer will give you warranty grief if any other emission type issues pop up. I'd imagine all catback "kits" are the same but it comes with all hardware and hangers needed to add the 2nd exhaust and my old and new system was in and out in 1 1/4 hours.
I'm up in Canada so we pay more it cost me $1k, there are cheaper catback systems out there (sound and budgets are subjective to each individual which is understandable) but Borla's all stainless steel system and sound made me buck up the extra $$$. 1million mile warranty on it and a good reputation of high performance exhausts made me not regret my choice.
You be the judge if you want a loud exhaust. (Don't get buyers remorse later if it's not loud enough or to loud.

Some people say the Bola cracks and pops a lot at a standstill revving while that is partly inherit to the Ford engine and the Borla being a system that is not "muffled" as much as others manufactures. Under normal driving conditions you don't hear the popping but more of the "cackle" sound you hear that is Borla.
My philosophy: If the exhaust is too loud, then you're too old!

I haven't been on the highway since the res delete but I am expecting very little to no drone. I will update here after this weekend.

I didn't want to mess with anything before the cat, I went with MBRP and I'm pleased with it so far. Drone isn't bad at highway speeds and it's not overly loud, but still growls pretty good when you stomp on it.

^ X2! MBRP on the 5.0 sounds great. Not obnoxious/stupid loud but rumbles at idle and screams when you get on it! Highway drone really is non-existent compared to my dads old flow master 40 series on his '07 5.4
