Default Exhaust Manifold Rust

Just picked up a 2010 XLT SCrew, and I absolutely love it. I was checking out the motor yesterday when I noticed that it looks like the exhaust manifolds both look like they have a layer of rust on them. They're rough to the touch and brown. Is this normal? How do everyone else's look?

High heat, plus moisture equal rust. I know it's not very humid in FL Nothing to worry about.

Thanks a lot guys. This is the first new vehicle I've ever owned, excluding my wife's car. I figured it was normal, especially since they are cast iron, but I just wanted to make sure. My other car is a 1976 CJ-7 jeep, and I have the headers on that covered in fiberglass heat wrap so I never see them.
