Default Exhaust manifold question

I recently put a resonator delete with si/do magnaflow muffler on my ‘13 5.0. However I feel like the airflow is still not the greatest. After comparing the factory f150 manifolds to factory mustang manifolds and realizing the better design I found a set of factory mustang headers taken off a ‘13 5.0. Before I pull the trigger does anyone know if the factory mustang manifolds will bolt right up or have any other concerns?
Thanks in advance!

Similar model year headers will bolt right up, but the mustang headers interfere with the F150 frame by about 1/2 inch for the 09-14 gen trucks. You'll have to do a lot of cutting and grinding to get them to fit.

The mustang headers won't provide any performance benefit, and will actually reduce your low end torque. They are designed for a small lightweight car, not a heavy truck. The short runners and large plenum might get you a few HP at 4000+ RPM at WOT, but you'll lose significantly more torque where you need it down low. These trucks also need a heavy cast iron manifold to deal with the high exhaust temperatures. I imagine the thin mustang headers would crack and leak in short order.

Short of spending the money on long tube headers and deleting the cats, there is little to no performance improvements that can be made over the stock exhaust. I'd recommend investing in a tune if you are looking for some quick performance gains.
