BOTH! Do the level and replace the factory muffler with a Flowmaster 40 series or your favorite Magnaflow. This way you can look good while sounding good as you save up for a complete cat back system.

Exhaust first because you don't want a lift truck with no bad *** exhaust on it

On a budget? Exhaust.

I just did the level and tires. Not cheap, but wanted to do both at the same time. I plan to do the exhaust at some point, maybe, but the stock sound is not too bad either.

Might as well try to get some useful wear of your new tires before replacing them.

Thanks for the responses, but I need some more........It looks like there is a pretty even split as to which to do. As for the exhaust votes, which cat back system do you recommend. I do not want something overly loud. I want something with a nice rumble to it that won't annoy the wife and kids.

Thanks

I'd go level. These trucks are luxurious, enjoy the ride and the quiet while swerving like you're George Jones.

What are your opinions on a cat back system vs. just adding a new muffler? Is it a noticeable difference or are better of to save some money and just upgrade the muffler?
