Default exhaust help!!!

Ok guys gotta 09 f150 with 5.4 and I'm lookin at exhausts about to drive me crazy I'm lookin to do duals 1 inlet 2 outlet or do a y pipe I want a low rumble noise and deep tone but still loud I've been looking a flow master 10 series and another question is there a cat right in front of the muffler on these trucks if there is the guy before me must have had it removed but anyway please give me a hand Thanks

Most of the newer models have a resonator before the muffler. Not sure what year that started. Some people take them out, some put em back in after going with an aftermarket exhaust to cut down on drone.

they put the resonators on 2011 and up. the cat should be closer to the oil pan.

Hope you like the flowmaster. Had the 40 series on my 2014 5.0 and hated it. I tried to like it with both resonator on and off. Finally went with a glasspack followed by a 14 inch magnaflow ------ SWEET !! Just the right amount of low pitch growl - screams when your foot is in it -- very little drone.
