Default Ever heard of a "Platinum Limited" Trim Package?

New member here. I've owned F150's for years, looking at buying a used 2011 locally. The guy says it's a "super rare" Platinum Limited trim package - I've seen the pictures and the truck does bear both the Platinum and Limited badges.
Has anyone ever heard of this combo in an F-150 trim package?

Thanks,

Here is the 2011 brochure and it does not list a platinum limited...only lariat limited. It might have been made for Canada or Mexico though.....

Canada makes sense. I've seen a lot of f-150's at dealers coming out of Canadian car auctions. Dealers leveraging the currency exchange rate. Thanks.

Have him give you the vin and then go to ford etis and look it up.

You could also go here and choose the quick window sticker lookup. The full window sticker doesn't work but the quick can tell you quite a bit.

People do all sorts of weird crap. You can paint or stick anything to the truck. I could buy F150 badges and stick them on the side of my son's Civic.

It would still be a Civic.

Are you sure it’s not a Lariat Limited? They came with the 6.2L V8 only and as the name suggests it was a “limited” production run in 2011&2012. Normally pearl white in color with a color matched grille and rims with a short bed. Usually will have some blue leather on the seats as well. Owner may just call it wrong and not know.

Tried the Ford ETIS site but it says it's off line - will try later. Went to look at the truck today and damn if it isn't badged properly as a Platinum with "LIMITED" down the side of the bed. I got the VIN from him. Will investigate further. The owner says it was one of about 750 made. It has the 3.5L EB also, not a 6.2L like Limited's came with.
