Is the extended service plan worth $800? It covers maintenance on the ecoboost every 7000 miles up to 60k.

Yes that is a good price on an extended warranty. I paid $1300 for a 6 year, 100,000 mile extended warranty with the $50 deductible.

I think you are talking about the maintenance plan vs extended warranty. I think the extended warranty is worth it because peace of mind is worth it to me. I don't think the maintenance plan is worth it though.

It's a maintenance not warranty. I do have the warranty too. Just trying to decide if I should cancel the maintenance plan

My bad. Just looked at my contract again. It's $1200 for 60/60000 coverage. The service intervals are 7500 miles

so it is a service plan for oil changes and the like, it isn't the extended warranty plan?

When I picked up my truck last week, they offered me the service plan for oil changes for $1,400 for 6 years, 75,000 miles. I declined, but the price is inline with what you have.

I look at it as it would basically be 8 oil changes at 150 bucks each. I know it covers more than oil changes but the other things it covers most people wont even need.
