Default Engine Rough and No A/C

This one seems odd and I've been searching and just been on rabbit trails going nowhere.

Friend's 2011 Raptor w/Procharger. Engine feels very bogged down. Acceleration is awful. To the point he's concerned it will die or that he won't make it up the highway on ramp. I've driven it and it's bad right off the line. Very rough, you can feel the vibrations, and the exhaust sounds terrible. Idle seems normal. 2k+ rpm in neutral seems normal. It feels a little rough to me between 1k-2k, but he didn't think so. He would know more what his truck feels like, so it may be normal. He said the boost doesn't seem to be normal per the gauge.

AND: The a/c quit. The compressor doesn't engage or appear to attempt to engage. I don't see or hear anything to indicate it's attempting. Everything under the hood at idle looks and sounds normal based on my personal observations before this started. The belt appears ok. No warning lights on the dash. I forgot to scan for codes when he came over a little while ago. I figure most of the obvious ones would illuminate the check engine light.

Both problems started at the same time. Today they both corrected themselves for 30 seconds then the engine went rough and the a/c quit at the same time.

The only correlation I can think of is that the ECU detects something wrong and prevents the a/c from engaging.

Any ideas?
