Default Engine quit running

While on the highway with the low fuel warning having just come on.
2012 F150 5.0 stock.
It still cranks and feels like normal compression. Shows oil pressure too.
I have a tow coming, it's 6 degrees F outside.
I'll get some fuel and give it a shot.
What else?

Have you installed the fuel pump fuse relocation kit yet (fuse 27)? Part# EL3Z-14293-A - https://www.fordpartsgiant.com/parts...z-14293-a.html
I would check the fuse to see if the socket is burned or the fuse melted fir fuse 27 - common problem.

^ my thought also.

open fuse box on top of radiator and remove/inspect F27 and look into socket for burn signs.

Fill the tank with gas.

And in the future pay attention to the fuel guage. *Don't let it get so low as have to WARN
