So a while ago I posted about this dull whine noise, almost as if my a/c compressor was on all the time. I've been trying to get a good video of the sound, and this is the best I could come up with:


I'm moving the phone around my cab a bit to try and get to the noise, best heard around 14 sec and 23 sec - end of video. (best heard with headphones)

Again, just a real dull noise that seems to be spooling over my engine while accelerating/maintaining speed.

 

Anyone have a similar noise? Or know what that could be?

 

Upon listening again, it seems like :30 is the best representation of the higher pitched sound I'm hearing. Shot another video too, will load up soon. Any input is appreciated.

 

I couldn't hear it. All I know is that when my A/C and fan is on high i get a high/mid pitch whine from the HVAC. It's extraordinarily annoying, but only when fan speed is on high with A/C on.

If you have the flow-through center console, the high/mid pitch whine when the HVAC is on is coming from the two (2) vents at the rear of the flow-through console. Open them up more and the sound should go away.

 

I get the same whistling noise only on highest setting too. Mines a flow through so going try opening the back vents.
