Default Engine coolant for 5.0L?

Hey guys..

Just checked over my truck after a Ford full service check..
Apparently they don't full up the coolant .?!?! It is way below the fill line and is in the 2 little rectangle boxes in the bottom .. if you know what I am saying..

So happy I am done with my warranty and can start doing all my own service to the truck .

Curious what you consider to be the best brand coolant for the 5.0L?
Or does it matter?

It doesn't get that cold here in the winter .. however I do travel north a few times a year for hunting where it is pretty chilly..

Is this Prestone 50/50 which says good for all vehicles okay ?

Reason I ask Is because I have a full unopened bottle at the house now ..

And as for the fill line it should be to the top one ?

According to Bob is the oil guy, motorcraft orange is the same thing as dex-cool for the 11+ F150. You can buy Prestone dex-cool 50/50 mix at auto zone for like 13 bucks.
