If you looked at the side emblems as compared to the front the side emblems look black because I only did one coat of the glossifier, and the front and back where I did multiple coats look like a dark gey. I still love the way they look though

I had the back up camera so I had to pop the emblem part of with a flat head then the the second part with the camera just on screws. I think the other one probably has the 3m tape. So you will need some fishing string.

Sorry to revive such an old thread, but I'm going to dip my bumpers and I bought some side emblems and I would love to know what color dip you used. It looks like it matches the paint REALLY well.

If you're going to take the F150 emblems apart to paint or dip them, sand the texture off the inserts. They look way better smooth.
