I took my 12 f150 in to the Ford dealer to add an after sale backup camera. I notice now my compass is not working. I know the compass works thru the mirrow. Surely the new mirrow would have the compass feature? I can,t believe adding the camera would take away the compass. Haven,t spoken to the contract company the dealer uses yet. Do the aftermarket mirrows come with camera and compass?- Thanks John

 

What model of truck do you have. The compass on my XLT is in the radio display.

 

My compass shows in the display also but its not working now. The compass feature originates in the mirrow and I don,t know if the new mirrow has that ability.
