Default Electrical issues help!

New to the forum scene, hope I'm doing this right. I've got a 2011 FX4 with procomp kit, a couple of days ago I noticed my factory remote start wouldn't work. Instead of starting the horn beeps once that's it! I've owned the truck since new, so I know how to press the buttons correctly and I've tried both keys. Also, my battery was dead the day after this, new battery (good) alternator is good I noticed my dash/instrument lights are staying on at night, I'm having to pull the fuse! Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like a door switch is bad.

Beeps:
1 = SECURILOCK not programmed correctly. Doors not Locked
2 = BRAKE is being pressed or Hood Open
3 = Door Open/Dome lights on
4 = TACH not programmed
5 = Key is in Ignition
6 = REMOTE START SYSTEM in Service / Valet Mode

I'm not saying this is your problem, especially with the battery and dash illumination issues, but if you shut the truck off without putting it in park the remote start won't work and the truck will honk once. Once you get a fresh ignition cycle it will reset the system.

Thanks y'all I appreciate the replys and suggestions!!! I will check wiring and door switches, and the chart was helpful about the secure lock system. I will update when I find out since I've read of others with this same problem. What did you mean by fresh ignition cycle? Thanks again as this is aggravating to have to pull the instrument fuse every night! What about some sort of switch on shifter, I have the console shifter, I've seen some issues posted, and since you mentioned it being in park, maybe it's not recognizing "park", just a though?!
