Default Electrical Issues - 2014 Eco Boost

My 2014 Eco Boost has an electrical issue after it sits for several hours. It will only unlock the driver's side door and not the other three. Sometimes it doesn't unlock any of the doors. It will also reset the gauges to metric (as if the battery was disconnected). The stereo fried out about 8 months ago. Also, one of the horns no longer works. Before the stereo died, there was a loud pop. It happened on a couple of different occasions before finally dying completely. When the problem initially began the weather was changing and the truck acted as if it was a battery issue by clicking when I would try to start the truck. I replaced the battery but the issue continued. I eventually learned that if held the key in the position to start the truck the clicking would stop and the engine would turn over. I took the truck to a dealership and they said I had not tightened my battery cables. Wrong. I definitely tightened the cables and nothing has changed in the last 5 months. Any ideas???

Don't forget to follow the instructions in the owner's manual regarding changing and/or the battery and the need to rest the BMS (Battery Management System).
Maintence » CHANGING THE VEHICLE BATTERY » Battery Management System ...
After battery replacement, or in some cases after charging the battery with the external charger, the BMS requires eight hours of vehicle sleep time (key off with doors closed) to relearn the new battery state of charge. Prior to relearning the state of charge, the BMS may disable electrical features (to protect the battery) earlier than normal.
*NOTE: FoMoCo dealership service can reset the BMS using their IDS (Intergrated Diagnostic System) negating the eight hours of vehicle sleep time requirement.
