Smile EGR valve location

Well after spinning my wheels for hours trying to find the PCV valve I finally went to the Ford dealership for answers. Turns out that my 4.6l 2010 does not have a standard/replaceable PCV valve. It is literally built into the inside top of the driver valve cover. Now I'm searching for the EGR valve and am wondering if I am on another goose chase as I now cannot locate it. This particular engines VIN code is "8" as opposed to the more common "W" version. If anyone knows of this creatures whereabout on my engine it'll be greatly appreciated. It has been a great engine (208,800 miles). Just trying to cover probably much needed general maintenance of all associated engine components. Cheers.

a quick google search landed me on another f150 forum and they claimed the 3 valve 4.6 didnt have an egr, that ford took care of that using the cam timing. Take it with a grain of salt i guess

I'm going to believe that. This engine has a few peculiarities so instead of banging my head again I'll check with the dealership again. Thanks for the input!
