Default Ecoboost towing problem?

I was pulling my two jet skis to Vegas from Orange County and something happended while pulling them up the grade just past baker. I'd like to say it was the good ol condensation issue, but I don't think it could have been. I was cruising at about 60mph I have a boost gauge and it was showing boost averaging around 15psi, I wasn't flooring it or speeding just pulling steady up the grade. I kept hearing the BOV (pesst) releasing pressure every so often and thought that was unusual. Then it lost felt like the truck was lunging slightly nothing the passengers were even ble to feel just me in the drivers seat.
That went on until about 3/4 of the way upthe grade until, all for a sudden CEL came on I pressed ok it showed the wrench icon on the dash, and allowed me to keep going it wasn't misfiring or shaking or anything like I think the symptoms are when you have the condensation issue. All of the garages and temps looked fine. But now my boost gauge wouldn't go above 6psi and the truck felt gutless. I contained to drive until the next exit and got off the freeway. I stopped the truck turned of the ignition started it back up right away and was back on the road like nothing happend.... What gives?
The only engine mods I have is a stage 1 CAI from AFE. I have to mention it was 109 outside temp, but all of my temps were showing fine in the truck.
So what would case this, and why would the BOV be releasing pressure when towing up a grade and at constant throttle pressure. Could the turbos have gotten to hot and went into limp mode? Anyone else experience this?
Even with this happening, I'm not trying to ruffle feathers I still LOVE my truck.

Take it to the dealer and have them check the boost control wiring harness. I had the same problem and that is what the problem was. Repaired under warranty.

Scan it and see what code it has. It doesn't sound like condensation at all. It does sound like it went into limp mode. Possibly the cats getting too hot.

I tried scanning it with my scan gauge tool, no codes stored.... Surprise surprise.. But like I said when I pulled off the exit at the top of the grade I shut the truck down restarted it right away and nothing was there no more check engine light, and it ran fine after but was still having the bOV j sounding off while driving.

any update, I just got back from a trip with a small enclosed trailer and 4wheeler and about 200 miles into my trip on an incline in gainseville, FL I felt a shudder and then a whistle(sounded like a turkey call) and then no power. Got home restarted the truck and I think the turbo is back on. Never showed a code or any change in gauges. Did the shudder 1 earlier in the trip, but still had all the power until the second time.
