This is exactly what i am going to do on my ecoboost. Any updates on how it has worked and whether or not it has affected the cooling?

It's worked great so far. I might have lost a little fog light function due to the bumper but I can't really tell. No cooling issues. The light is in front of the solid plastic piece on top of the intercooler so it barely blocks any airflow to the other parts. I just towed 7500 lbs 900 miles in a day and had no issues at all.

I had one mounted behind the grill as well. Works great. No cooling issues and it is hidden from view or theft. Definitely the way to go!

Really like the looks of that. Can you please post more pics of the brackets and where the brackets are mounted.

Thanks,

That looks awesome. Someone needs to do it and make a write up.

Only I think I'd cut both bottom and top bars and leave the ford oval
