Ecoboost pro's & con's

Oh I'm not saying it does, but to be rated at 22 mpg and get that just makes me wonder where the 22 mpg rating came from. It's not unheard of for carmakers to post misleading mpg figures.
I had a '14 Silverado with the 5.3 and 3.42 gears (I have 3.55s in the F150) that would get over 21-22 mpg going 75. But I do like the F150/ecoboost overall much better than the 5.3l in terms of power and torque.

FORD lifer
Cruise control set on 75, not towing, mine is always 20-21 mpg.I drove 55 miles to work for a couple of years - and I averaged it because I was making a 2000 ft overall climb one way, and obviously 2000 feet coast the other way, and I was never under 22, but that's 70 mph too.Higher speed hurt it, snow tires will hurt it, and towing kills it.
