Any of you guys have the little resonator removed but kept the factory muffler?

I replaced it with a 3" pipe. It ran great/better but too quiet. I had it that way for about 4,000 miles with no issues. I have recently fabricated all new 3" to 2- 2.5 tail pipes with no Muffler. Verry cool. Runs awsume and milage did not suffer, maybe slightly better. Not sure yet as I don't have enough time on the configuration to make much of any milage change comments, 2012 Ecoboost FX2

How much sound gain did you get? Just with the resonator removed. Do you have a sound clip with it that way before the duals?

I could not tell any difference from inside the truck with windows open or closed.
