Has anyone ever had the idea to use a g35 or bmw 335 aftermarket muffler and put them on these trucks. The aftermarket bmw exhaust sounds really nice and they are v6 twin turbo. I just don't know why these trucks sound so odd.

Yeah my biggest complaint about the ecoboost is the way it sounds.. love the turbo whistle though. I have heard some badass exhausts tho. the roush exhaust sounds great on youtube, and theres a memeber on here with a livernois downpipe and 4" exhaust that sounded awesome

It's just hard for me to pull the trigger on something so expensive when I havent heard it in person. Ya it would be nice to if we could make the exhaust quite but the turbos whistle like crazy or even like a diesel with straight pipes.

I wonder what a straight pipped ecoboost sounds like ha the diamond eye stainless exhaust is $400 shipped with a tip right now.. theres a sound clip too, though i feel like the poster babied the gas a lil too much so you dont hear much

Well Stainless works makes a catless downpipe but ya striaght might sound good

Solo's cat - less downpipe, afe 4" cat - back system. My 2011 ecoboost. 145" WB. I also have an afe stage 2 cai, and tbs.

If your going with afe, Jason from afe is on the forum.. Send him a message with what you want, he'll hook you up! I saved I think 200$ off of there Internet pricing, which already killed against the prices up here in Canada. But thanks, all I need now is a tuner!

Do you have a lot of drone?? I have the solo catless waiting to install and dont want to put 150-200$ for a resonator deleted if I can buy a complete 4" for 500-600$ !! But in canada the shipping is so expensive for exhaust system..

@ lilcrazyone-- did the cat less downpipe throw any lights on the dash? And did the SW bolt right up to the AFE catback? Sounds great!!!
