Default Ecoboost coolant leak.

Hey all,

2011 f150 fx4 Ecoboost. 133k miles and been strong other than spark plugs getting worn quickly.

I found a coolant leak today on what seems to be driver side turbo. Black line with a curve turns into the turbo. Very small slow drip coming from where black line meets white connector.

Has anyone else had this problem and is this an easy in the driveway fix?? I'll drop some picture if I can get under there.

Thanks in advanced!

Now, I'm too lazy to go out and try to look at my own truck, but I just wanted to let you know that some guys with '11s, like yours and mine, have talked about leaking coolant tanks/overflow tank, whatever you'd call it. It is in the driver's side, just above where you're talking, any chance it could be leaking and dripping coolant down to where you're seeing it? If there's any chance at all, just look above wherever you were looking anyway. Post here either way, because I'll be interested. I'm liable to keep mine a good while yet.

Yep on my sons F150 he had issues with coolant recovery tank, after multiple attempts to repair, fix was replaced tank and hose. Not sure if that's your issue?

This leak seems to be on a coolant line directly tied to turbo on drivers side. I don't think this is directly tank related. Anyone seen this?

so this is a little old but I'm hoping you ended up getting this fixed!! What did you find? I'm having a similar issue and I think it is coming from the same place... My drivers side turbo is covered in coolant and I have repaired already the recovery tank/line leak...
