Hi I have a 2012 ecoboost screw my truck has 8600 km on it, and the engine light just came on. I took the truck to the dealer to have it looked at and they told me that I need a new catalytic converter. I thought it was pretty weird that a new truck would need this part. The truck still runs great but it does have have the odd rough shift. And I've lost about 100 -150 km per tank off fuel. So my question is does this sound right to every one here. Thanks Shaun

 

I had a brand new 2010 Mustang GT and the cats fried a day off the lot. It happens- but get it fixed as soon as you can. The only warning was the engine light and horrible fuel mileage.

 

Wow ok sounds good my truck goes in on Thursday so should be all fixed. Thanks for the response. Shaun
