Ebrake light
Hey guys new to the forum here but not new to ford think I’ve had around 16 of them in my life so far honestly they’ve been a bad dream 😏. I got a 2014 5.0 lariat and about a year ago the ebrake light came on it went off in a heavy rain or car wash then came back on again now it stays on. Forscan shows B1048 I’ve changed the sensor/reservoir still on same code. I did realize I used dot3 brake fluid but not sure that’d make the light stay on 🤷♂️ i believe it started after I changed the rear diff fluid if that would make any sense. Not sure that’s why it started or if it decided to start to fall apart at that point lol. I’ve changed every gasket and seal as well as valves and valve springs. Anyway I’m wondering if this is bcm related my factor key when trying to use it says starter fault and won’t start but the remote start works as well as the rear defrost doesn’t work my after market tow mirrors had puddle light but those also stopped working not sure what’s tied with what but would like to fix it so I can sell it Id like a car but will drive this still has 380000km so far
