Dual Solo Mach X/ Single MR400 Solo for 5.0
Hey y'all,
Since I live in the Denver area, and we are blessed with copious amounts of road salts, I want to go with a full stainless exhaust for my 12 5.0 one-fiddy.
Not very many pics and videos except for video on the solo site on these two systems.
Can those with one of these systems post up a couple pics from different angles?
Thanks for any help

I'm curious too...I've got the 5.0 and basically everything I can find as far as pics or videos is related to the Ecoboost trucks. I kind of wish I could get the dual exhaust with single tips. Never really been a huge fan of dual tips on a dual exhaust. Don't get me wrong I feel that the Solo exhaust is a very high quality and well made system, just not a fan of dual tips.

The kits are identical. So Eco picks are essentially 5.0 pics. As far as location on the tips, routing of the pipe, etc. Not so much for vids obviously. I have some pics of the underside of my truck when it was on their lift. I'll post them when I get home. I don't have them on my phone.

The only difference in the systems between the 5.0L and Eco models is the J-Pipe is tweaked a little bit for the 5.0L but I think it comes from Solo already set up (at least thats what we did in the shop when we ran it on my truck). My truck is the 5.0L in the vids; it sounds great, still lots of compliments and people starring and drooooling, haha.

Solo's claim to fame is exhaust systems for modern American V8's that put out great sound with NO drone so they've gone to great lengths to uphold their reputation with these systems. I have slight drone (reasonable amount to be expected) when I'm towing up a hill and holding low RPMs in 5th or 6th gear. If I drop another gear and RPM up the drone disappears and is replaced by the sound of a thousand Gods ripping chilli farts while blasting Motorhead at a Nascar race (FYI - that's a good thing, hahaha). Once you hit cruising speed the noise is almost non-existant other than a low rumble. I get a bit of drone at 132-133km/h; nothing up to 131km/h and nothing past 134km/h. Basically all it does is remind me to either slow down, or "f**k it, hit the gas and speed up man". The only "complaint" I've had about the drone was while sitting in the magic spot just above 131km/h one of my buddies, hungover as all hell said "remind me again why the hell I'm putting an exhaust system on my Mustang (2013 5.0L)????". I kicked it up to 135km/h and he said "ohhh ya, THAT'S why. Sweeeet." I've even driven my grandmother around with no complaints, although she always was a bit of a "car chick" hahaha.
