You can't win on this site.... you lower a 2wd and someone complains... you raise a 2wd and someone complains

Don't see why someone would complain about lowering a 2wd. I see 2wds as more a work truck/show truck. Most of the time I see people lift 2wd because they don't need 4wd.

I was considering doing so, maybe just smoking it out.

Thank you, I dont know if the pics are deceiving but its a 3/2.5 townhouse. Its my first home and its comfy and cozy for just me.

The ride is just like stock, since it uses the stock struts and springs. It rides a little knobby because of the Toyo MTs. Handling is great, acceleration is reduced just a little bit because of the weight and size of the tires. Gas mileage is averaging right around 14.5 combined. 5.0L and 3.31 gears.

I lifted it because I like the look of a lifted truck. Its a street queen and the only dirt it will ever see is when I go to the paintball field on the weekends. I did it because I like it and because I can

This I am not sure about. I would double check on their site and see what the requirements are.

And to all others, thank you for the compliments. I love walking out to my truck every day realizing that it is mine and I built it. I love it.

Sorry for the terrible cell phone shots.

Specs are:

Awesome, I'm really having a hard time talking myself out of a lift on my own truck...

Mind saying how much $ the lift/wheels put you back?

Did you do the labour yourself?

Might be time for me to start saving up!

Go read the threads about lowering 2wds. I think they look great raised or lowered. I'm actually thinking about lowering mine and adding some suspension goodies so it handles.

I got a great deal on the lift, but when all was said and done I spent $3800. The majority of that cost was for the wheels and tires ($2600).

I did not install the lift because I dont have the right tools, nor the time to take on that job. I had a local shop, Upright 4x4 install the lift for me.

You didn't know, this is really Lambast Nation. You definitely have to be ready for anything.
