Isn't that "drawer" the ashtray ??

Lots of room under there, once you get to it.

If you donot have a tbc make a pannel to go on the front of the box. You need to trim the thicness of you new pannel off the front of the box so it will lay up flat. Room for 2 or more switches. Check out www.otrrattw .com for switches that look oem.

Yes, I'm bringing this one back from the dead. I have a Rigid SR-M Backup Kit on order and I'm trying to find the best location for their 3 way switch. It appears that the location you used will work for me as well. Nice and clean and easy to reach.
So, how does that dimmer switch fascia/panel pop out? It appears to come out from the front with some perimeter tabs. Is that correct?

Thanks in advance.

I put my 3 way switch there also. The panel pops out really easy from the front.

I used the exact same place, plenty of room behind the dash for wires and such.
