Drivers side tailight

Default Drivers side tailight

I can not get my drivers side tailight to work .I have checked bulbs and fuses.i even pulled off negative side of battery to reset the body control module. Any help is appreciated I've been messing with it for 2 weeks

Do you have a test light or a multimeter? You need to check powers and grounds in the tail light harness and where it connects to the body harness in the back. You probably have a broke or grounded out wire somewhere in down the line or a short to ground through another section of the system such as the trailer harness. I had and 18 that the pass side harness rubbed through on the box and had splice it back together. Post the last 8 of your VIN and I can provide OEM color wiring diagrams.

Make sure your codes are cleared in the SJB/BCM or they will not come on.

Check for corrosion in the harness connector plugs to the tailight and from tailight to trailer harness, they can get corroded
