Default Driver Seat issue

Afternoon all.

I'm here for non mechanical (I think) this time. The drivers seat in my 2014 FX4 is trying kill my back. No other seat in our fleet of 4 cars (counting kids) hurts as much as this seat does in such a short timeframe. 5 mile commute to work and center left off my back is screaming.

Everything works, up/down, recline, forward/backwards, lumbar... All function. Before I start searching for a replacement anything I can look for?
Have raised, lowered, reclined, added and removed lumbar support during a 4 hour drive... Thought I found the sweet spot, but come Monday kills. 🤬

Tia.

Some members have add spacers to the rear legs I think. There was talk of the seats sitting low in back.
Google seat spacers and take a look.

There have been threads about people that hate the front seats. There's no consensus, though. Some lift the front, some lift the rear, some have even lifted the whole seat. So, it's basically different people are shaped differently and need different positions.

There are also spacers for the rear seats.

Default The Seat Shop

Replaced driver seat bottom foam with Durofoam from The Seat Shop. My comfort level improved significantly. Wasn’t a hard job to accomplish either. Watch their video and purchase hog ring pliers. Might work for you.

On the drive home yesterday I had a thought about the seat bottom not supporting both sides evenly causing an issue. If I lean to the sore side it's gets worse much faster. Will have to consider leaning opposite direction and see if that does anything. I did read something about the seat pan causing issues in other Ford's.... Maybe have a similar issue.

My wife absolutely loves the passenger front seat, usually a sleep before we get out of town. 😒

Thanks.

There's a sweet spot where if I get it adjusted just right, it's actually fairly comfortable. But if I get it just slightly out of that sweet spot it kills my hamstrings. Why Ford designed the front seats the way they did boggles my mind. The rear seats in my crew cab are super comfy. I've thought about tearing the seat apart again and adding some sheet metal to get rid of that support bar pressure point on the seat bottom.
