Default Driver Rear blinker/brake light

I have a 2011 f150. My drivers side rear blinker/ brake light does not work. The running light works just fine. i have checked and there is no voltage at the socket for blinker. I have checked fuses, switched out sockets, and checked for any cut wires as well as having new bulbs. Everything checks out and I cant think of anything else to check. has anyone else had a problem like this or what can i check next? thanks

The truck has two fuse/distribution panels, are you sure you checked everything? If it's truly NOT a fuse, then my next suspect would be the multifunction/turn signal switch. The brake circuit runs through it.

Yeah I checked both fuse panels. Would the turn signal switch cause the light to get no voltage at all times because even while hazards are on the light gets no voltage?

I don't know if the hazard circuit goes through the switch or not. If you can get a helper/observer, try holding the brake pedal down and wiggling the turn switch to see if you get anything at the lamp. Just a thought.

I tried wiggling it while it was on and it still doesn't work. Hopefully someone else can chime in who has had a problem similar

I just wanted to update this thread in case anyone else runs into a problem like this. I read on this fourm about FORScan and decided it was my last ditch effort before bringing it to the dealership. Turns out the circuit was cut off from the bcm giving no power to the rear left tailight. I cleared the codes using FORScan and everything is working now. I wish I would have tried this earlier before spending hours chasing and checking wires.
