Driver has cold feet in '14
My drivers' side floor heat is lacking. Plenty of heat but no air flow. The passenger side gets a mighty blast of heated air. I can barely feel a trickle of heated air coming out above my feet. Anyone know the cure? I am in South Mississippi and I can't imagine what people in colder places do with this ???
I have the single regular old type of heating/AC.. Plenty of heat out of main dash vent holes. Thanks, Pete

I can't say that I have ever noticed if there was an air restriction and we are sitting at a cool 21 degrees right now. What I would suggest is taking a look at the ventilation for it (could be blocked, cracked or broken.) If you want to redirect more air to your feet, I'm sure there's a way to maybe redirect some duct work. Good luck

I looked at it some more today. The air flow is light, compared to the passenger foot area. Seems to be designed that way. The passenger side has big vents to the floor and driver's side has little bitty ones . Really stupid, I think. Am sure nothing is broken or malfunctioning....just made that way. Guess I will try to stop by the dealer and see if they can check it out, but I got a feeling they will say "normal". You guys in the cold country don't have a problem ? Getting the same amount of hot air as the passenger side? I am very curious as I can see this as a pain in the azz where it's really cold.

Same issue on mine. Feet get cold. Defrost also sucks and has a hard time clearing windshield.
Quality is lacking on these trucks because they try to push 900,000 of them off the line every year.

2011 with same issue!
I've had my truck 2 weeks, and this is another very annoying issue for me. It was 10 degrees driving into work a few days ago, and my left foot literaly was knumb by the time I made it to work. This issue is really bad for me, I turn the floor heat on full blast and I end up almost sweating but my feet are freezing! So now I drive with the window half way down so the cab doesn't get so hot!
This truck is really becoming a hassle, it's one thing after another, and the dealer I bought it from is useless!
I am going to look at fixing this issue ALSO this weekend, anyone have a fix they have heard of? After doing some searching, I found some people taking the blower motor out and adding silicone around it, anyone have a explanation why this could be the issue?

The location of the vent is not the issue. The amount of heated air coming out of the vent is the issue. It is almost none , while the passenger side gets blown away with hot air. I am going to see if stopping up the passenger side lower vents with something will get more air out of the drivers' side. Will stop at the dealers soon to talk to 'em.
