Default The drawback of my 36 gallon tank ....

Okay,
I filled up three times since I have the truck, #3 fillup was today.
Every single time the pump stopped at $100, and I had to start a new transaction to get the tank full. I know that this is an issue of the gas stations and not Ford, but it is annoying! Darn, can't they increase that limit to $200 or something?
I don't really like pulling over to get gas, so I always empty the tank and then fill it up all the way.

I remember in Houston after hurricane Ike the pumps would cut off at about $50, they is if you were lucky enough to even get gas. 3.5 Weeks with no power during that heat was not fun.

I wish I had the big tank. It wasn't an option when I bought mine.

Yeah, I love the big tank. I just wish they let me fill it up in one shot.

I remember when the pumps had $75 cut offs. With today's fuel prices, I can't believe a station would still have $100 limits. Our diesel is sitting at 4.40 to 4.50/gal. You'd only get about 22-23 gallons, when most long wheel base diesels have 30+ gallon tanks. ... I just shake my head at that.

I filled up in Omaha and it shut off at $100.03. I thought it hit the limit and shut off a touch late but sure enough, no $100 limit on it so maybe they're changing the limit in some places now. Luckily gas is pretty cheap here in Colorado so I don't make it to $100 quite often.

It might be your gas card, mine doesn't cut off at 100, that is with my Exxon business card, my biggest full up though has been $116.23!!!

most of the pumps around here still stop at $75 - super annoying... After 10 years of getting ~230miles to a tank, I'm finding it hard NOT to stop even though I've still got plenty of gas sloshing around.... old habits die hard.

whats worse is when you hit the $100 max and then start a new transaction and your full with $2.50 or less the second time.
