I'm looking at buying a big sky gun rack which will screw into my headliner... Do our trucks have a "double wall" ceiling... Or do I have to thru-bolt it to the outside? Any thoughts?

 

I am curious of this as well. Has anybody mounted a skyrack that screws to the roof and if so where exactly did you mount. I definitely don't want to mess with taking the headliner off. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

Looks to be single-panel roof over roof rails ...

 

Best bet is to remove the headliner due to the wiring harness up there, you will want to mark spots for mounting that wont cut into the wires.

Thanks for the quick replies. I was afraid I would have to take the liner off. I really don't want to screw into the roof but the other kind of sky rack that doesn't screw into the roof won't work due to the curtain airbags.
