I saw one 13 FX4 with the soundscreen windshield, and one without. Can't put my finger on why that is. I know platinums have had them since 09, but I've never seen it on lower trims.

My 2011 has it. My truck is quieter than my friends' trucks, but they have XLTs and mine is a Platinum so I would imagine I have more sound deadening material all around, not just the laminated windshield...
According to Carlite: "SoundScreen acoustic windshield is made of a layer of sound-absorbent vinyl sandwiched between two sheets of glass. It reduces noise levels by as much as 6dB between 1500Hz and 5000Hz, and 2 to 3dB overall, which allows conversation and audio to be heard more clearly."

Maybe I should have had this when I was married. Then the ex wife couldn't complain that I didn't listen to her
