Default Door Panel removal problem

I replaced all my speakers except for the tweeters but I ran into one problem with one of the rear doors. When I removed the 8mm screw in back of the door handle panel the nut behind the panel fell down into the door. I was unable to find anything at the bottom of the door. But I wasn't able to stick my hands far enough into any of the holes. I don't know what this nut is attached to and why it would have detached. Does anyone know how to fix this?

This JUST happened to me, in the front. Just pull back the plastic black wrap-like thingy and shine a light in to see where the nut is. You can reach your hand into the larger hole in the middle of the door under the plastic wrap. I know, it sounds too simple and that's why you probably overlooked it. It also gives you access to the glass behind the panel. You'll pull off some of the sticky stuff but it sticks back up there. I found that a little strip of electric tape helped hold it in to place for the installation.

Same thing just happened to me but on the front passenger door. Used my magnet on the end of an 18" spring to fish it out. Knew I bought that magnet years ago for a reason.
