Default Door Hinge Adjustment

New member, first post. Just purchased a 2013 F150 SuperCrew Lariat 4WD two days ago. The only thing I have to address is the front passenger door is out of adjustment. It arrives about 1/8" high when it contacts the striker on the door jam, but when it is shoved closed, the door has equal clearance all the way around. That means the striker is in the right place and the door hinges need to be loosened and adjusted so the left side of the door (handle side) drops slightly to mate the striker with the receiver.

Problem is I cannot readily see how to get at the hinge bolts that secure the hinges to the chassis frame. It looks like I would have to remove the fender and I am not enthused with that idea since you never know what you might run into in the void behind.

Has anyone crossed this bridge before and can lend some expertise?

Take it back to the dealer and get them to do it, if you just bought it.

You might have missed that it was a 2013, so obviously used. That might have made the 3 year warranty, but not the 36,000 on the bumper to bumper since it has 41,000. So if I can't figure it out, I pay for it. I want to try and figure it out first. It's my nature.
