I put some on mine a while back. I think they look fine but I really don't know if they are in the sweet spot where they would defend me the most.
I have either been lucky so far or they have actually worked because I don't have any dings yet.

It looks as though they call Blue Pearl -Dark Blue Effect. The DX beside the color is Ford's code for Blue Pearl. I had an 08 Blue Pearl and I still have a OEM bottle of touch up paint.

I took mine to a local door ding guy, threw 50 bucks his way, and he made my truck like new again...

Paintless dent guys are awesome. I'd recommend them. How does the hair dryer or compressed air work? I've worked in the auto body industry for nearly 15 years...and I've never heard of that.

lol look on google. you heat up the ding area with the dryer then flip the "duster" can upside down and spray the heated area and its suppose to have a reaction between hot and cold and it pops its self out.

Hetman, i purchased the painted body side molding from a company called "Sportwing" and they appear to get it from Dawn Enterprizes I got it for my new 2012 F150 FX2 Supercrew ,red candy metallic, the molding is 2.5 in wide and comes in 4 pieces, I put it on myself. When ordering you just need the color code that will be on your drivers door. Personally i think it looks really nice and certainly better than ugly door dings. Good luck
