Default Dome light problem

Hey guys, I just purchased a 2011 FX2 Ecoboost. I am in love with this truck accept for one problem. The dome and map lights do not come on when you open any of the doors or use the dimmer switch. The mirror and cargo lights work both with the doors and the dimmer switch but the dome and maps do not. The dome light will come on if you use the 3 position switch that is on the dome light and the map lights come on if you turn them on manually but not with the doors or dimmer.... anyone else experience this?

Thanks,
Nolan

Did you check the fuse?

should be #4 or #12 in the passenger kick panel fuse box.

The previous owner might of had it changed to dark mode. The dealer or someone with id's would have to change it back. Just a thought

Yes Sir, I check all fuses in the kickpanel, but not under the hood yet.

I had the same issue in my '13. Turned out to be a loose connector at the fuse-box in the kickpanel.

I have the same problem. Subscribed. Hoping for a reasonable resolution.
