Default Does anyone have a bedslide?

I have a CG1000 bedslide which is pretty handy but i'm trying to figure out solutions for hauling dirt. i'm thinking a large square plastic tub (4' x 5') would do the trick.

does anyone else have a bedslide? what is your solution to hauling dirt?

my other thought is to get a trailer but don't want to store it when its not in use.

I've seen guys with them, they're pretty cool if your constantly needing to get things in and out of the bed. I have a plano sportsman trunk that holds all my straps, first aid, etc. and remove it when necessary. I wind up getting mulch and topsoil and rock in the warmer months, and need the use of the bed and ability to hose it out without pulling out an entire drawer. Here's what I have:

If you decide to part with the bedslide, this is an option. If you need to, I guess a tub would work assuming the bedslide holds that kind of weight.

I built my own bed slide, it anchors to the box at all 4 tie down locations. When I haul dirt or other such items it take me literally 20 mins to remove my bed slide. I haul dirt/mulch about 4 to 5 times a year so it's no great pain to do it.

Could you just use a heavy mil plastic tarp as a "liner" for the bed and over your bedslide?

Love my bedslide, best purchase i have made for the truck
If you pull the bedslide to the centre 2 people can just lift it out quite easily, so i was told.
Put a tarp over the frame and job done, or just hose out after.
Good time to give it a bit of a grease too.
