I would have rather not have had it, but this truck had everything else I wanted, and for the right price. I use mine maybe once or twice a month.
Must be a States thing for $495 if you have Nav. Here in eastern Canada, My roof cost me $1300 and nav was another $800.....

I would not have bought my truck without one! Didn't have it in my last truck and really missed it. Use mine everyday unless it's raining.. I generally use the pop up feature in the winter to exhaust air out the top……… It's a great feature and have it in almost every vehicle I've owned over the past 25 years. Only trouble I EVER had with one was an A4 Audi. I'll admit it was out of warranty and a pretty expensive fix…. I have the extended warranty on my truck so I'm not concerned about repairs on it if ever necessary.

I pondered the moonroof for quite awhile before ordering my Platinum. My biggest thought was that I would probable use a couple times, then forget about it. As I have never owned a vehicle with one, I figured I wouldn't miss it, so I didn't order one. And, as I thought I haven't missed a moonroof.

Use mine quite a bit from April thru October, almost everyday. Very little the rest of the year. This is my fourth vehicle with one, never had any problems with any of them.

All the time. I'll even open it if we get a decent day (above freezing) in the middle of winter.

Driving with it open in CA just sounds like a good way to catch the AIDS.

Ive had several vehicles with sun roofs (still have one) , they are a waste of money, have potential to leak and I never ever drive looking up....
