Does adding a leveling/lift kit void thw warranty?
Hello guys,
Im new to the forum. I bought a 2011 F150 XLT EcoBoost in October and am looking forward to customizing and making it my own. I would just like to get some clarification and advice on leveling vs. lift and if that would void the manufactuers warranty.
Thanks, Addison

As it told to me.....it only affects your warranty if you have issue with something that is related to the aftermarket modification. I.E. if your tie rod is bad and typically covered under warranty, they could blame it on the leveling kit as you have changed the geometry of the steering/suspension with the leveling kit. If your exhaust is bad, they can't void the warranty due to the leveling kit b/c it is unrelated.

^ he's right. They can't void the warranty unless they can prove that ur mod directly affected the broken part. However, if ur dealer is a dick (which a lot of them are), they'll try to treat u like an idiot and say that ANY mod will void ur warranty even if it doesn't affect the problem.

You're covered by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty act.
