Going against the crowd here but, I actually like the look better with them on. Mine are also a must for my 5 foot nothin wife.
She tried getting in the other day without using them. Very comical

 

I kinda like it with them on.

Anybody that likes them on, needs some, and want a good price let me know - 2012 stock fx4 running boards. Currently 4000 miles on the boards and truck! If I need to put some back on the truck I'll go aftermarket.

 

If you really need running boards bestop electric ones are major cool, with the stock ones gone you got a way better stance!

 

You will get a lot more door dings without the running boards but I like the look without the boards.

 

I like the look without them. Mine were painted from chrome to black today, had them off since the first week I bought my truck. The inability of females to get in the truck has them going back on.
