Do I need a leveling kit?
I'm putting 17 x 9 pro comp wheels with 305/65/17s on a 2010 STX 4x4. The overall diameter is nearly the same as the stock 18" wheel and tire combo.
I think the 2010 4x4s are much more level than the the 2008 and below, but that may just be my mis-perception.
I want to see what the wheels and tires look like without a leveling kit before I put one in.
I don't want to put one in just to do it.
Does anyone have any pictures of a similar set up without a leveling kit installed?
Thanks in advance.

Here, this guy was able to fit 325/60-18's on stock rims without a leveling kit. I'm guessing you shouldn't have a problem. Me, I would spend the extra $100 for the leveling kit. The trucks look so much better leveled with oversized tires.

It's not the 100 bucks I'm worried about. It's changing the suspension angle on a brand new truck and potentially causing abnormal wear. Although unlikely 2" will cause undue wear, I'd rather not chance it if it is only going to be for a minimal look enhancement.

Yes to the guy above, it is a bobber... a Triumph bobber.
