I have towed several times so I am assuming the fuse is in there. My travel trailer uses 7 pin and shows up in my display.

Then you're good. I didn't have them installed...had to buy them because my truck didn't come with them

Thanks for the heads up though. Sorry to have hijacked the thread. I think the white night tangent is over...

Did you have to buy a new emblem with the camera bezel or will a non camera emblem fit?

Yeah, the emblem for the camera bezel is quite a bit smaller than the non camera emblem.

Has anyone seen a cheap good-ish video recorder that could be used with this setup? I have seen a few on ebay, but I'm not sure how wiring it all up would go.

.
I'm in the same boat. Just came across this thread and 21 pages later no one has tried this?

Just buy an inexpensive $100 camera like the a pioneer brand and the lock pick for the navigation. With the lock pick it offers an optional cable for 2 camera inputs (stock rear and one additional). If you search lock pick on the forum someone did this I believe. http://www.coastaletech.com/synclockpick.htm

I bought a vamera and a 4.3 inch screen on eBay for 40 bucks. Camera has infrared for night vision. I am installing the screen in my visor. I wanted to hide it because I hate things hanging around in my truck OCD. Here's the pics so far. Just getting this part done first.

Anyone care to share exactly what camera they got of ebay? I'm really interested in the ones early on in this thread but when I click the link at the beginning it takes me to "similar" cameras because the listing one is available for sale any more.

I have a 2012 150XLT that I'd like to install one in the handle of the tailgate so if someone has a OEM part number for the handle to off hand that would be greatly appreciated.

I have an 06 F150 and im trying to figure out if the handle install will work on my tailgate as every handle i have seen shows only that it works with 08's-up. This is driving me insane becayse i thought the major body changes came to the 150s in 09. So what i'm trying to figure out is if the handle sold on ebay for either the Lincoln Mark lt or the one in this thread will work with my 06 and if so, what is different if anything at all?

Sry in advance if this had been answered but i am tired of searching these threads, this makes it my 4th hour searching! Shooot me.
