Slippery OEM running boards. (Common complaint - put some skateboard tape on them or spray with line-x)
Thin body metal. (Reduces weight to achieve better mpg)
A/C and heat/cool seat settings don't stay with restart. (Common complaint - i agree)
Lack of front sensors to use for parking and auto braking and cruise control adjustments. (You are asking for adaptive cruise control/park assist. expensive option that i dont think a lot of truck buyers are interested in)
Lack of way to download destinations with nav system. (Why would you need to do this?)
Boot up of nav screen takes too long to display backup camera. (Again, common complaint)
Voice control doesn't understand Southern English. (Haha, thats funny )
Rear floor mats too small. (Get some weathertechs!)
Lack of manual backup camera on button when under 5 miles per hr. (Lockpick could solve this)
Sony subwoofer on rear floor. (Agree - but you could have gotten the non-Sony system if its a problem)
Not attaching to 2 phones via Bluetooth at the same time. (I feel this would be confusing - what if you get a phonecall on each phone at the same time?)
Not able to use home wifi to automatically send health reports and download updates. (That would be nice!)
Nav updates not free during warranty period. (Agree, but all car manufacturers do this)

Just my responses to your dislikes, someways to solve a few of them!

My wife's phone can be configured, but sync will only connect to one at a time. So in order for her to use the hands free, we have to manually connect it to hers and then reconnect to mine. It would be nice if it could automatically connect to two and use the favorite as the default. It isn't a must, I just dislike that it can't be done. Also, since the favorite selection doesn't work and it connects to her phone first all the time, her phone has been erased from the list...she never drives my truck.

You can do this using Mapquest. I just did it yesterday. Pretty handy to find a destination on a computer and then send it to Sync.

Instead of me typing it out, check out this YouTube video that shows how. Looks like Google has removed being able to do it with Sync so ignore that part.

Two things I really hate about my 2011 Eco boost SCREW, gas tank is too small(98 Litres) and I hate the 4x4 system(was way better in my GMC). We can have at least 5 months of ice and snow here and I miss the awd option my GM had. To fix all of this we just ordered a 2013 so now huge fuel tank and awd.....should be completely happy now...I hope!

That was the final deal breaker when I looked at an 11 Platinum and bought the 12 KR. 36 gallons and auto-AWD were the icing on the cake.

FX2screw - I have a grab handle out of a 2010 F150, Make me a deal and I will ship it to you. Thing has been in my garage for 3 yrs and don't even have that truck anymore. I can't put it in my 2013 because I have the tweeters on the pilars.
I'd hold on to it (2010 F-150 LH A-pillar grab handle).

Why? FoMoCo decontented them beginning in 2009 on -ALL- F-150s. So ... It's very rare and made of unobtainium.

Default New Ford owner

I drove 3 Chevy trucks before trying a Ford this time. The new F150 is a pleasure to drive. Even my wife and kids prefer taking it over a Lexus RX350. Most of the compaints I see listed here are minor. My two compaints are: A $50,000 vehicle should have a cabin filter and the new ecoboost gas mileage is not as advertised.

A question on the above complaint............

As I don't have Nav, I can't comment on how the camera works, but I assume you are talking about starting a vehicle and backing "out" of a driveway or some other space???

If this is the case, a simple solution would be back "in". if you pulled out of a driveway, or any other parking space for that matter, your Nav wouldn't need time to boot to enable the camera. Then by the time you needed to back "in", your system should be booted.

Just a thought............. Please correct me if I am assuming the wrong thing. As I said, I do not have Nav... just a $38 camera and monitor mod setup which works perfect....
