Default A Disappointing Surprise

For a few years Ford included a 6 disc CD player with the premium Sony sound system. I wrongfully assumed that the CD player in my 2014 Limited would hold 6 CD's as well. I wonder why they did away with the 6 disc CD player.

Because most people don't use CD's anymore. Load them on a memory stick and have all your music with you.

USB thumb drive capability is cheaper and probably zero repairs

I would assume it is because most forms of radio and music are in the form of mp3s, mp4s, streamed via Bluetooth or WiFi. Not many people use CD's anymore. But we all know what they say about assuming anything... lol.

And load them on a thumb drive. Problem solved and you don't have to have storage in your truck for your 100 CD's.

I said the same thing when I was looking at a pile of about twenty five 8 track tape cartridges when they stopped making the 8 track players.

I do like the idea of two (2) thumb drives.
