I'm with you guys i'm lost myself...my remote start just flashes the lights twice and the truck starts. The parking lights come on to tell me it running, no horn beeping at all. Only time horn beeps in when I press the button twice.

I found this post no idea if it works since mine doesn't chirp when I unlock. Let us know if it works. https://www.f150forum.com/f38/unlock...7/#post2385410

doorlock code hacking
An added advantage to using the lock button is that it prevents thieves from stealing the key fob code and being able to open your doors. I've read elsewhere that it is becoming more and more common for codes to be intercepted.

I recently got my first F150. Its a 2013 XLT. In an attempt to not wake up neighbors early in the morning I would like to disable the horn honking when you press lock twice. I like the visual check with the lights flashing but my neighbors don't like the horn. Mr. Google has not been helpful so I'm branching out. If anyone can provide some advise I would appreciate it.
Your aftermarket remote starter ("Cromestopper" maybe) also has optional horn control functions (if connected). It might be worth asking the installer if the aftermarket system could override it somehow.
If it were my truck, I might consider adding a switch in the cab somewhere to totally disable the horn as a last resort. At least you could turn it back on. Or maybe investigate the horn wiring and see if you can disconnect or cut the horn control wire for only those annoying functions.
