Default Digital speedo

I see that in the engineering mode there is a digital speedo.

Is there anyway that this can be set to display in one of the menus or can it only be accessed via the engineering mode?

Thanks

Only engineering mode. Unless you get a device like an sct-x4 that can plug into the obd connector, it can display all of these things and more.

Your sct tuner shows speed? Dang. My Livewire doesn't and I really want it to. I also haven't updated it in a couple of years, maybe thats why....

Not sure if it does natively or not. I added all of the pids when I was doing the custom tune part from 5star (when you datalog stuff). I then just went in and selected vehicle speed. I also recently found out the speedo is about 3mph faster than the vehicle digital speed read by the sct x4.

I now have battery voltage, engine coolant temp, tranny temp, and boost being displayed by the sct.

Interesting. Unfortunately I don't think I have that option for gauges. I know the tuner can read the speed as it has shown up when I was data logging with LiveLink, but in terms of customizing the gauges it displays, it gives me nearly every option BUT speed. Not sure why they didn't include it as an option but I'd love to have it

There's other choices to get this stuff. Could be cheaper. Assuming you have a smartphone, you can get a speedo for free.
