Question Difference between left and right camshaft?

Hello all,

I have a 2010 F150 that I am putting back together for a buddy of mine. The problem (other than the engine showed up in a million pieces) is that I'm unsure if the left and right cams are the same or different of the modular 5.4 since the phasers have identical markings, and I don't want to remove the phasers from the cams because I don't want to have to replace the phaser bolt. Is there a difference between them? If so how can I tell? I am a fairly experienced tech, but had I disassembled this motor, things would have been labeled and/or separated!! thanks for any input in advance!!

lobes are offset. hold it over the head, if it lines up w/ those followers you're on the correct head.

Ahhh .. By offset, do you mean horizontally spaced along the cam?? If so, I know what you are saying and I'll check it when I get out there.. thx!

Default left and right

the phasers generally have an "L" or "R" on them. The dark links on the chain go on either side of them when replacing the chains.:

These phasers have both L and R on each, so I can't tell by that. I'm aware of how to time it. BlackHD06 was absolutely correct. The lobes are offset. The passenger cam won't reach the first valve if you attempt to install it on drivers side.
